Plan Description
Columns, Terracotta & the Art of Flow: A Mediterranean Estate Built Around Openness The columned arch entry of this single-story Mediterranean sets an immediate tone of gracious scale. The foyer opens directly ahead into the dining room, which carries a clear sightline straight through to the covered back porch, establishing the home's front-to-back orientation from the very first step. Off to the right, the kitchen serves as the plan's central hinge, connecting the dining room to a cathedral-ceilinged great room at the rear. A very large quarter-round breakfast bar anchors this transitional space, while the great room's generous rear windows and side porch access make the boundary between inside and outside feel almost incidental. Turning right from the foyer, a study with a walk-in closet offers flexibility as a third guest bedroom, with two additional full-size guest bedrooms beyond it. Further along the right wing, a pool bath opens to a small back porch, a large utility room connects to the garage, and a game room with its own outdoor access rounds out this side of the plan.
