Plan Description

With a carefully laid out floor plan, this lakefront cottage skillfully fits four bedrooms and three-and-a-half bathrooms in an efficient 2,700-square-foot layout. The symmetrical front façade sets the tone by contrasting the earthy textures of shake and stone with crisp white trim that runs throughout this home’s exterior. Wrapping around the rear of this cottage is an expansive covered porch designed for entertaining and enjoying summer breezes in the shade. A pair of sliding doors allow the interior entertaining spaces to open up on the covered porch for a seamless indoor-to-outdoor transition. The openness of this compact plan still manages to provide plenty of storage in the form of a separate butler’s pantry off the kitchen and a lakeside mudroom. The centrally-located living room connects the private primary suite to the home’s common spaces. The primary suite is given spectacular vistas on three sides, with direct access to the rear patio. It also features two separate closets and a private bath complete with a shower and large soaker tub to create a luxurious primary suite. Upstairs, you’ll find the home’s three other bedrooms, one of which has an en suite bathroom (making the room perfect for guests).
